Beau Brummell

This one appears to be the first version of the Beau Brummell "C". 10K Yellow gold filled with a 21J movement and diamonds at 12, 3 and 9 mounted in arch topped triangular mounts. Runs and keeps time as received. Mounted on a black suede replacement band by me. Appears to be the first "C"  for the database in this configuration.

Yellow gold filled, with a linen pattern silver dial sporting diamonds at 12, 3 and 9. "Bulova" on  dial is applied gold, like the indices. I found this one a few minutes before the auction ended and didn't recognize it. My first thoughts were it was a Diamond Excellency that had a 3rd diamond mount added at the 12 position; which seemed unlikely as the DE (2 diamond) in this casing had the logo printed on the dial. "What the heck is that?". Next thought was is was a 3rd party dial (arched logo) with bling. Condition looked good and it was running, so I bid it because I liked the look. Apparently, nobody else thought it was "real", as I won it for $26.50. In hand, the logo looks like it was bent during a previous service and will stay that way..... It is currently keeping time.

Much to my surprise, it appears in the 1966 Linebook as genuine.

I don’t think the band is original to any Bulova. It says GEMEX U.S.A.

I didn’t include the ad because there are 3 other member watches just like this but with slightly different movements.

Been hunting this one for a while. Diamonds at 12, 3 and 9. White gold plate case. Mounted on a nice period scissor band. 

1957 Beau Brummell "O"

I initially thought this was a "blinged" President or Citizen with a refinished dial and added diamonds. N2 dated case and movement. Royal blue dial with diamonds at 12, 3, and 9 in a white plated case. Much to my satisfaction, I found a single ad in the full ad section under 1972. No mention of this one in 1971 or 1973 linebooks, so I am assuming it's a "one year wonder". It is currently on a black leather band, but I have a navy blue Corfam on order. Running and keeping time.

CASE: 10K Gold Filled. 27.5 mm x 34.5 mm lug to lug.

Here is an unusual one; only the second ever uploaded to the site. The first was in 2014 and it wasn't positively ID'ed until 2019. The first I've ever seen in person or for sale. Gold plated back with a gray dial sporting 3 diamonds and a whale.....17J automatic movement. Photographed as received and keeping time.

1970 Beau Brummell "AV"  As seen in 1971 Linebook177

This one really caught my attention. 30J waterproof 10K white gold filled case. 5 diamonds on the "door screen" textured dial. Case appears identical to the 23 "CAW". It didn't seem to make sense that a diamond dial 30J would be in a plated case, At first I assumed it was a "put together.  After some digging in the 1960 linebooks and was quite pleased to find it, as it's one I have never seen before and a database first.
