Bulova 23

Great Bulova 23 Jewel here.  I think we have the "G" model.  It came with a pretty rough bracelet so I wanted to do something fun and switched it out with a light sky blue croc strap!  I dig it on there.

A Bulova 23  marked L5, an 'E' I think. Bit of a ding on the back and the crown doesn't sit properly , right sort of shape but unmarked so not sure . Plating (chrome?)  is lifting on one of the lugs, Otherwise seems to  run ok. 

I was going through my Bulova drawer, and I found this 23. You just ID'd a T variant for me, and this one might be an S, based on the previous discussion (smooth lugs, short seconds hand). The case is marked L8, and the movement is marked L7.

There are a couple of these in the database already. 1957 Bulova 23 "S". The band might be original, but is the seconds hand too long?

This is a 1958 Bulova 23 "V" based on the line books.   The case is yellow gold plate with a stainless screw back.   The date code is L8.  The dial is two tone with applied yellow gold hour markets.   The dial has lost some if its lettering due to over cleaning. (Not me) The movement is a 10BPAC 23 J with an L8 date code.
