Accutron - variant unknown. Gold Electroplated Bezel,10k RGP case. Bracelet assumed to be original. Purchased on eBay, installed a new battery with a 3d printed spacer ring. Seems to be keeping proper time. The case number from inside for parts reference for case is x3344. I secured and installed a new crystal. The case and bracelet been through the watch cleaner.
I decided I wanted to get an Accutron for my collection. Ā This one came with a fresh battery and is running well and keeping time. Ā I love the textured dial and case. Ā A 1972 case and 1974 movement which I didn't catch before buying but I am still happy with it. Ā I have also seen the one with the maroon minute track so I believe this is the 22809-8Y. Ā I am not going to open this one so I am using the sellers photos for the inside shots. Ā It is in the 1973, 1974, and 1973-74 linebooks.

Here's an Accutron 214.Ā The case back is stainless steel, dated M6, marked waterproof, patented, and has a 10 KT GF Bezel.Ā A black and gold stretch calendar band was already on the watch.
Replaced the Accucell with a new one.Ā It's humming nicely and keeping time!
I believe it's a 1966 Accuton 214, model 411.Ā The non-lume dial/hands and 10K GF made me question my choice.Ā Ā Thanks for your assistance in reviewing my guess!

I just got this in the mail from a seller in Japan today, and I was excited to share. This is an open face Accutron pocket watch in steel. I found an ad from a late 60's early 70's Swiss catalog with an 18k solid gold example pictured with a description under it stating a "same model in steel" with the model number being 21 396. Interestingly enough I also found a listing from Christie's auction house selling the solid gold example in 2020 for CHF 1,375.

They list the case number as 723. The steel model as a case number of 723-1. I also thought that Bulova putting the case serial and date code on the bottom of the case and not the back was a nice touch. It keeps the back looking clean. Case back and the 2181 movement have an M9 date code.
Face says Bulova Accutron, date code N6(1976)Ā -Ā Ā Stainless steel back, base metal bezelĀ -Ā Ā I've been digging around and can't find anything that matches this model. Just hoping to figure out what I have. Would love any help that can be offered.Ā -Ā Ā Similarities I've seen so far:Ā 1973 accutron date & day (general shape)Ā -Ā Ā 1975 accutron date & day (hour markers)Ā -Ā Ā 1977 accutron date & day (hand shape)
