1970 Chrono w/ very nice complications...Cal 11????

Submitted by William Smith on June 6, 2012 - 9:46pm

Well just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't out there.  This one is just too cool.  It's stated as a stainless steel case, sporting an 11 movement.  It was called "bull head automatic", and the first thing I thought was bull#*%!, but after looking a little closer, I can see how someone would describe it as a 1970 Bulova Bulls Head Chrono.  Case diameter listed as 42mm w/o crowns.

L4/1954 Self Winding watch needs ID

Submitted by slipperyid@hot… on June 6, 2012 - 9:30am

Hello. I recently refound an old watch I was given (and lost!) when I was about 12... It has a new leather strap, and when I got it I remember we took it to a jewellers to get it going - no idea what work was done, so no idea how "original" it is - and I havent tried getting the back off...

On the back it has L4 and the serial number 7556162 with BULOVA - Stainless Steel Back - Anti Magnetic - Shock Resistant - Self Winding - Water Tite

I've seen other similar watches online (here and ebay), but none with these lugs... anyone know what it is?

1956 Honeycomb Dial ...What Model is this?

Submitted by daniel ruben on June 3, 2012 - 5:12pm

I recently purchased this intriguing (to me) White color cased Bulova. The case back is correct, although not pictured. It is an L6 with a case no.29301. Im a new member so bear with me. couldnt figure how to get more than a Thumbnail photo attached. Dont even know if its attached! The dial is a honey colored Honeycomb textured dial. Measures 32 mm in diameter. I would love some help identifying it. No help from your site search. Hopefully someone recognizes this watch. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Dan

Lo Minute Man?

Submitted by rpongon on May 31, 2012 - 6:33pm

This Lo 17J looks somewhat(?) like a Minuteman from what I've seen in the ads but it has a single step(?) or trim line and the stem post is exposed from the front.  I'll try to leave more pictures later if it isn't something obvious or to be added to the photo library.

Thanks

I am negotiating to purchase the watch and am not sure what it is. Seventeen jewels in a 10A, 14K Gold Plate. Movement is marked 185292 but case is 6417962. Looks like either one of the possibilities. Dont have any other info at this time. Here is only picture available for now. Need your help before I comit to spending the money.
