There is a certain similarity with Treasurer, but in this case it's Unknown model like this Lisa´s watch

Nice watch again. It sure looks like the Treasurer that was introduced in 1928, but the lugs are different. But the watch also has a serial number that is part of this special range I state is from 1927. See my forum post http://www.mybulova.com/forums/where-are-1927-bulova-ladies-watches#comment-56428

The case serial of above watch starts with 858 and is signed with "American Standard" and NOT the expected "New York" for 1928 watches. American Standard is the case signature as used in 1926 and 1927 and on top of, the movement is from 1927, so in my forum post I identify this specific 858 series as 1927. Since all watches I find starting with 858 have the American Standard signature, and NOT New York, and all come with 1927 movements.

So maybe above watch was to become the Treasurer with the foresaid lug change but we have no 1927 ads of that watch to prove it. Hence: unknown for me.

Hello Geof,

Thank you for your comments, I did not set out to buy unknown Bulova watches, it was just a matter of feeding 'my habit' so to speak.

I do have more which I am unable to find reference to and will be adding more in the future to test your mental strengths.

.....looking forward to the test!

Personally, I tend to seek out the wanderers and the lost children, the "Unknown" as we call them here.

I also have one of these similar unknown watches somewhere.  Maybe some day an ad will surface.
