An example of two nearly indestiquishable by ad or photo set of lugs being markedly different models as discussed above....on point I'd say...

No, I don't think so admin.

We're discussing the different Case designs and how differently designed Cases can have the same lug styles making them appear to be something they are not.

The unknown shown is not a 'DUO WIND' The 'DUO WIND''s lugs reach up to a ring on the Case bezel. The unknowns lugs are narrower and attatched to the side of the Case.

Similar, but different.

Fifth you are exactly right!

Wayne,

The Case of the subject Watch is similar in design to the 'CONVOY' (2 piece stem and the movement lifts out through the front of the bezel). I would guess the Case dimension is the same - Hands and Red center Seconds Hand also Match.

* There is no mention of the Watch being 'self winding' or automatic.

I say it's a 'WATERTITE'  [22] - variant unknown.

I'm with Fifth on this one. His thoughts on case, dial and hands  design being closer to a "Watertite" than anything else discussed in the thread are pretty much bang on.  Caseback is also clearly marked " *WATER TITE* " not waterproof.
