Good call on the ID Mike.

That band looks really sharp on that watch, great combo.

I'm tentative on the Sea Flight ID, the lugs seem different. Maybe a different photo would help but the lugs in the ad appear to be mounted more on the front of the bezel than on the back as the pictures seems to suggest. The dial doesn't look quite the same either, minutes track is less apparent which could also be the photo.

I have to agree about the lugs looking different. The ad shows the lugs extending on top of the bezel, but new watch photos show the lugs different. I also see a difference in the bezel; the ad shows a smooth bezel, but the actual watch has a stepped effect.

Mr Baker, the eye doctor will see you now :-)

It's a nice match for me. Bulova Sea Flight 'K'

I wonder if the company had anything to do with flying over water?

Mike is it TSBC?

TSBC - tri-state breeders collective, apparently.

1967 Sea Flight "K".

1964 Spring Bulova Price Lists show several variants available in early 1964. Check out the relatively high prices of E, F, G, H.  Interesting there are no variants listed in '64 at ad price $49.95  It is counterintuative to me that Bulova would release a "cheaper" variant after several more expensive variants were released.

The ad used in ID is from 1967.
Sea Flight does not show up in the Fall 1961 price lists (or earlier).

Runs well, but stops occasionally. Winding mechanism is very stiff, so this one will need servicing prior to use. Otherwise, it's pristine.

It's hard to see (and harder to photograph) but the numbers are beveled, with the left and right halves sloping away from the middle. I've seen this before in some other Bulova watches of the 60's, I believe some Surf Kings may have the same style, as well as a couple of unknowns. It's really effective.
