Looking around on the internet i happened to find more with the chapterring like mine. The "count down" seems to be the rare version.

which is why the subject is not the 'DEEP SEA' "A"

ad is 1972

Has anyone ever seen one that looks like the one in the first advertisement with the "count down" advertisement ?  I have that very same advertisement and concluded long ago that it was a misprint.

Swiss vs U.S. version perhaps? (note the 1972 ad states 'available exclusively at Little Switzerland', St Thomas, St Croix, St Martin, St Barts. - none of which are US entities, are they?

a humdinger and an excellent choice over the Spaceview crystal fujix100.

What I find unusual about the Litte Switzerland ad is that a true dive watch would be a count DOWN dial (minutes of air supply remaining) but they picture a count UP dial. I wonder why they choose this image.

St Thomas and St Croix are part of the US Virgin Islands. St Barts is French and St Martin is half French and half Dutch.

I'm not big on Accutron Geoff but from what I've read Little Switzerland was in its Day.

The Little Switzerland ad shows a tradition Dive bezel, as on the subject Watch.  It's the Deep Sea 'A' ad which shows the oddball.

This much I do know, there were Swiss manufactured Accutron and U.S. manufactured Accutron. If that has any bearing in this matter is a question I can't answer.

Ahh, if only I could be searching for a Spaceview crystal and fall upon one like this.  ;-)

Beautiful example Fujix100!
