1955 Bulova Clipper

Submitted by bobbee on April 17, 2012 - 2:45pm

Another Ebay buy, this one was advertised as non-working, yet it has not stopped since I gave it a little turn of the crown! It came with it's original inner and outer boxes, along with the watch tag label and guarantee, and a sweet little christmas  gift tag! After removing the cruddy Speidel band, I gave the watch an all-over polish with my trusty Cape cod cloth, and Lo and Behold, out came this beauty. The face looks really cool, a sort of "cracqeleur" effect to it's ageing and I can't show this in the pics.

Minute man?

Hello,
It's so nice to see others enjoy beautiful things. I didn't know there was a whole other world of collectors out there. What all you on line buyers need to remember is to check the .99 cent watch bin at your local thrift store.. So far I got my 38 bulova, a 50 ish gruen and a cabinet tissot clock all in working order.
