I've realized I'd mistaken about the year... There is a "47" inscriptioned on the mechanism.. Will take a photo of it.

I'd just like to point out that although the letter designations of the movements appear to be chronological, they are often misleading.  An "A" movement can sometimes be newer than a "B". Bulova assigned them as they became available, and this isn't necessarily in order of the age of the design of the movt.  Movements that belong to a series can be from completely different makers, also, as one might expect.
