I've acquired another one of those unknown models like the other one I have. This one is a 1950 just like the other one. I haven't done anything to it yet except get it running. Someone had broken the head off the ratchet wheel screw and apparently thought super glue would be a good way to hold the ratchet wheel in position. Then for some reason they super glued the crown wheel too. Maybe they thought if it didn't turn the ratchet wheel would stay put. Who knows. I think it will look even better than the other one after I have some more time to devote to it.
I just picked up one identicle dated 1953. I doubt it's an AA model but there's alway's a possibiliy that it may be. Research has proven they all did not have X quad or curtain dials so I'm on the fence for now but I'll keep mine till we know more about it. I've sold too many in the past that we did not know were AA's. I just picked up another AA that Lisa ID'd with the checkerboard dial and I've sold several in the past. So now I have 13 of the men's models after 12 years of chasing them. I would not count this one out. Unconfirmed for me.
