Watch Description

1951 21 j 10bm model. The only crystal to fit is a CMY 312-6 for an Academy Award Model. The case is all 10k gold filled. The date, case, 21j movement and crystal all suggest it may be an academy, we know there are plain dial varients around. I can find no adverts for this model or hardly any other models the same as. So any ideas? Excellency or Academy are the two front runners at present!

I agree with you Stephen - I just don't see enough AA here to make that call, I'm sticking to UNKNOWN as well.

I can see this watch being an AA just not sure which variant. Come on fellas, we have id'd watches on much less and since we have not seen all of the ads yet I think it would be a safe bet to vote it a generic AA vote. After all is said and done, if it is not what we think, later we can change the id.

I'm not sure what the vote is now....LOL  but I bet we are neck and neck coming into the home stretch....

Come on Will, what will it take to get you to change your vote?? Are we better off today than we were last week?? You betcha, we have hundreds of ads to go thru and we owe it all to you big fella. You know in your heart that this is an easy one with the info we have and as I said we have confirmed on less than that.
