Watch Description

I guess I already started by saying I don't think this is the right crystal, but it seems to fit well and sure looks cool! Both movement and case back are stamped L5, leading me to believe this is a 1955, but I leave that for the panel to decide. I've looked through all the '50's watches that are posted and all the ads, the best I can come up with is it looks most like a '53 Ambassador A with different lugs. Also kind of looked like a Senator in one of the ads. I wore this around all day and forgot I had it on, so light and comfortable. Kept awesome time too! Whatever it's title is I'm calling this one A Keeper. It's funny how you fall for a watch.

Looks like I'm joining the Unknown move on this one

Could be another Ambassador variant that we have not yet been able to find; but will have to go with Unknown also

I think I got this one.  Just a little unsure of the flared lugs are right. Are  subject watch lugs just  worn. Thoughts?
