Watch Description

I would like to know a little more about this watch. According to the case it is a 1957(L7) 18k gold ladies watch. It has a 23 jewel movement according to the face. as well as the movement. I am not sure what model this watch may be. I have not been able to in my cursory research found many 18k gold, let alone 23 jewel movement watches, for ladies in that year. It runs beautifully, and I would love to know more about it and where it may have come from.

Thanks for any insight into this lovely piece.

It appears that $10 is a low difference from plated to solid gold, but calculating inflation: $10 in 1957 is $90 in today's money. $59 calculates to $530 in buying power. Neither watch was cheap, by any means.

I find it curious that in the ads now attached to subject watch that prices for First Lady models vary from $59 to $95 with same sized gold case and 23J movement.

This is the same watch in yellow gold from an ebay listing.  Using with owner permission.  See this angle looks like the "I/L" at least I think it could pass for it?  On a close up of it you can see it is the same as this watch on the lugs.

I'm still at a Bulova First Lady "L", based on the 18K White gold case. Any further thoughts from the panel?

I'm still at First Lady no variant, but will go with the flow. I would go tentative "L"

I'd go with First Lady, tentative 'L' as well.
