I would like to know a little more about this watch. According to the case it is a 1957(L7) 18k gold ladies watch. It has a 23 jewel movement according to the face. as well as the movement. I am not sure what model this watch may be. I have not been able to in my cursory research found many 18k gold, let alone 23 jewel movement watches, for ladies in that year. It runs beautifully, and I would love to know more about it and where it may have come from.
Thanks for any insight into this lovely piece.

It appears that $10 is a low difference from plated to solid gold, but calculating inflation: $10 in 1957 is $90 in today's money. $59 calculates to $530 in buying power. Neither watch was cheap, by any means.
I find it curious that in the ads now attached to subject watch that prices for First Lady models vary from $59 to $95 with same sized gold case and 23J movement.
