I was able to zoom in on the movement script with a high res picture. The movement is stamped 23 jewel movement. I will have to pick up a magnifying glass or loop to read the serial stamp though. Soon as I do that I'll provide it to you. Might help with identifying it.

Can you tell us if there is an import code on the movement, would likely be BXW?

Also, is there a code stamped on the inside of the caseback?

Thanks

The only extra stamping on the mechanism is smaller then the rest by half. Impossible to make out without a glass.
It says Swiss and another M7 stamp.
No import code
The back of the case is clear

Perhaps part of the 23 jewelled 'Regatta 23' series. Although I'm only finding adverts from 1963 to 1966.

I've gone back to this one many times and was confused by the lugs.  I now believe the lug has been worn down by a bracelet and that this is a Sea King.  If you note the bottom lugs are less worn on the inside that the top lugs.  I found a match in the 1969 Line book BAWD0172 page 20 of 77.  Two year spread and the Self-winding has changed to Automatic but seems like a good match.
