I am trying to find out what Bulova watch I have it was given to my late father in late 60s,it has brown leather strap, grey round face with silver coloured edge, the hands are silver, the second hand is black with silver tip,the numbrs 12, 3, 6, and 9 are silver in a raised black oblong box with black background, the other numers are just a line, you have to wind it up, on the back it says stainless steel back, swiss made. Bulova is written in silver letters just below the 12

The case is in great shape for 1931.  The crystal, dust cover, and movement are in good shape.  Found in an ebay listing for "Vintage 1927 Bulova wristwatch stepped case".

Gentlemen, I give to you my 1931 Bulova Lone Eagle...

This is just an initial suprise and I'll ad it to my watches after a bit.  Won it off Ebay last week for $83.00 rediculously good shape.  Needs a cleaning and runs when laying down for some reason but stops when upright.  I'm not trying to be ornery.... just excited to get one of these!  Woot!

Is this a real Accutron?

Greetings

The first thing I noticed is the sec hand moves in increments not a sweep second hand and it sounds as if it ticks, so I opened the case and the movement does not appear to be like any pictures I have seen. Inside of back case says use 218 battery. It has date code -M9.

Here is a link to some photos.
