The BULOVA "MEDICAL OFFICER," Circa 1942. Below are images of two dial variants, and there may well be more??? I found these images on eBay (but didn't denote the sellers) and cross- referenced the crystal proportions (scaled X x Y on my monitor) to ID this 1942 "Medical Officer," as specified in a 1942 watch crystal catalog.

I believe all of these "Doctor's watches" (regardless of watch brand?) sport the round circular seconds indexes, with numeric markings... There are also several models of Bulova nurses watches and likely several other similar (medical related) models produced, judging by some of the model names...

The BULOVA "PHYSICIAN," Circa 1936- 42? I ID'd this from a 1940 watch crystal catalog, and it is also listed in the 1941 and '42 catalogs, as well... I don't know any more about this model, so if anyone else reading this does... kindly leave more information!?

I believe the 1936- 39 models of this namesake may well be the same as the 1940- 42???

The BULOVA "SURGEON," Circa 1942- 52. 17j Jewels, 10 karat yellow gold filled bezel with a stainless steel case back...  Apparently at least the two dial variants were used, as shown below. Member: "Plainsmen" just scored another Surgeon with a third dial design, that may well also be original?

The light colored dial is the 1942 model, the black  a 1948 release. The 1952 model I have images of looks to be the same design as the '48, w/a black dial also and sporting the same 10BCC movement ... I'm not sure if the '42 vintage shared the same powerplant, as well??? This watch is easily identified by it's "doctor's dial" (with inner circle, seconds register) and sweeping second hand...

Selfwinding but not working. I use the crown to handwind. 2011 my watchmaker took out the rotor for me, it hitted the movement. Works fine as a windup now.

Case PAT.JAN.11.1927 14K Rolled Gold Plate

This watch was mistakenly thought to be a Templar.

Curved case measures 38mm lug to lug using Calipers. Frost White finished dial with raised Gilt Arabic numerals and Bulova logo, Gilt modern hands and matching modern seconds hand follow printed Black tracks. Original glass, Swiss movement. Watch is original and as found.

1936 Ambassador, hidden lug model. Nice etching. Original Matching band with grooves in centre links as the lugs have.

Four Way Angled Crystal. Unsure on the ID on this now which was given to me by someone else. It takes the same crystal as the Treasurer but the real treasurer is the same year with an engraved case. EDIT: 2013.02.25 Changed ID from Unknown to Ardsley
