Here it is gents... the elusive Bulova Blackout.
This particular model comes with it's "original" GP period band which is also in great shape.
The dial and movement are extremely dirty though the movement started running as I opened it up.
This will be redialed and cleaned asap.
Enjoy!
Saw this on ebay. Listed as a Academy Award style case. mmmmmmmmm

Case is white gold with matching bracelet (Diamond & Ball Pattern). There were two Jump hour watches produced by Bulova in 1932. the ad shows the tonneau shape. there is no ad on-site for the rectanglular shaped Jump Hour.
I just joined this site after days (actually seemed like weeks) of searching the internet trying to gather info on a watch that I inherited. After landing here and searching through every page of watches posted by members, I found a exact "TWIN" of my watch that a member in Paris, France posted. They identified their watch as "Miss America" circ 1930. What I'm curious about is is my watch shows a date of "June 10, 1924" but when looking through th old ads they did show the watch in the 30's but not in the early 20's??
The BULOVA "JEFFERSON." 21 Jewels, Solid 14 Karat Yellow Gold. Circa 1941. Originally priced at $125.00...
The WWII era (Millitary style, or issue... with the LUMINOUS Champagne dial?) BULOVA "KNIGHTHAWK," wristwatch. Sporting a Luminous dial and hands... with the reliable 10AK movement, Circa 1943... I have what is probably a dumb question, I have several watches from the late 40s early 50s that have a A9 stamped either on the back of the case or on the movement itself. If you go by the bulova scale that means 2009, I have owned some of these watches for 15 years so they can't be 2009. I'm totaly confused.
Thanks for any help, Dennis
I am trying to find out wat model this is, It has a 9AN with a square for a mark, Inside of case say's BULOVA W Co. 14K Looks like it could be White and Yellow Gold.
Any help would be appreciated
I just registered and added two watches. I am interested in help with identification and valuation. The watches were my grandmothers who passed away in 1988. I am not a collector and I really have no attachment to them so I would like to sell them.
